Bluprynt Launches Free MiCA Checker to Support White Paper Compliance Across the EU
Washington, DC — Bluprynt, a leading provider of automated disclosure infrastructure
for digital assets, today announced the launch of the micachecker.com, a free online
tool that allows crypto-asset issuers to pre-screen draft white papers for compliance
with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
The MiCA Checker helps founders, exchanges, legal counsel, and regulators assess
whether a white paper satisfies the disclosure requirements under Articles 4 and 5 of
MiCA. Users can upload draft white papers and receive an immediate diagnostic
checklist highlighting required disclosures and identifying potential compliance gaps.
“Too often, regulatory compliance begins only after launch, when timelines are
compressed and legal risk is high,” said Dr. Chris Brummer, Bluprynt’s founder and
CEO. “The MiCA Checker reflects a new philosophy: that law can be integrated into the
development process early, transparently, and intelligently.”
The tool is part of Bluprynt’s broader effort to embed regulatory logic directly into the
tools used by developers, legal teams, and investors. Drawing on table top exercises
and pilots with EU officials and industry experts, it transforms complex legal provisions
into flags and outputs that accelerate internal reviews and support regulatory readiness.
By offering a public, no-cost version of their basic tool, which was itself developed over
months of research with regulators, Bluprynt aims to raise the standard for compliance
across the market.
The launch comes as MiCA enters a critical phase of implementation grace periods for
implementation begin to lapse. Several EU Member States haveopted to shorten the
standard grace period, with regulatory scrutiny beginning in earnest as early as July
2025.
The MiCA Checker is designed for:
- Issuers seeking early visibility into disclosure obligations
- Legal advisors conducting white paper reviews
- Exchanges and platforms assessing the regulatory readiness of tokens
- Supervisors and regulators engaging with issuers and facilitating efficient
approval
Future versions of the tool will integrate multi-jurisdictional frameworks, enabling
comparative analysis and document transformation across regulatory regimes.
